Start by installing and activating the mb.YTPlayer for bacground viseos plugin.

Go under Settings, mb.YTPlayer to configure the plugin.

Add the YouTube URL of the video and fill out the other options throughout.

We keep the defaults and click save changes.

You can preview it and if you do not see the video your theme has a background or image and you want to remove it in the stylesheet.

If you want a video background for just a post or page go to the post you want and click the new YouTube button to add the video.

Fill out the parameters and click insert shortcode when you are finished.
