Summary of this Tutorial:
Visit the google tag manager and sign up with the same email that you have the Google Analytics with.
We'll setup a web container for our website and pick web.
If you're creating this for an app you can choose one of the others.
Now we'll see a dashboard for our container and we can create our first tag.
You have several products to choose from and for this video we'll pick Google Analytics.
Choose the universal analytics and it will want you to add your site's tracking id.
We'll pick all pages as when to fire the tag.
Now we'll get this bit of code that we need to copy and paste on our site so I'll copy it here.
The easiest way to add code is to first install and activate the insert headers and footers plugin then add the code to the header section and save settings.
Now that we've added it we have to go back to the tag manager and publish the container.
