Moving a site from one location to another is sometimes a necessity but it does force you to go back and fix the links that broke during the transition. Luckily there is a plugin to go in and fix the broken URLs. In this video, we will show you how to update URLs when moving your WordPress site.

Start by installing and activating the Velvet Blues plugin.

Once activated you can go to Tools, Update URLs.

On this page you will be able to add the link to the old site and the new site URL.

You can choose which items to update and then click update urls and now all references to the old address will be updated.
