If you're going to blog, you've got to blog about something you're passionate about. This is vital. This is the most important decision you've going to make. What are you going to blog about? It's got to be something you could talk about endlessly. You've got to love the subject. Otherwise your blog will be stillborn. Find something you're passionate about, and you've found your inner blogger - you've got a chance to succeed. I started this blog because I've become absorbed in blogging and creating succesful websites. I'm passionate about this. I didn't start this blog specifically to get high traffic or profit, I started this blog to share my experiences and to help out my fellow bloggers. I've never started a website with the intention of making money - the money has followed without any extra effort. I don't need to make money on the web. I've got a nicely paying job. To me, even my job is not about making money - I work because I love my job. My employer pays me well because I work like I love my job.
