A favicon is the image next to the website title.

Open a image editor and create a square image of 128×128 for ease of use and once completed, resize it into a 32×32 and save it as a PNG.

To ensure your favicon is displayed on most browsers and devices, convert it to a 16×16 pixel .ico file.

Upload your favicon to your website's root directory using FTP and add our code into your theme's header.php file.
