I found a great tool for choosing the right domain name: Domain.com. Type in your desired keyword and let the tool check dozens of TLD's for availability, and if that doesn't work, click on "alternative domains" and the program will let you choose from up to thousands of variations for your keywords. I found that the tool is not always accurate as far as availability, for instance, worldtribunal.com was marked as available, but in fact it was taken. In any case it's a great tool for brainstorming, check it out.
